BilingualServiceNow Developer

SamuraiNOW is currently seeking a Bilingual for one of our ServiceNow consulting partners. The ideal candidate will be coming from a ServiceNow and Development background and will have strong experience working off of various ServiceNow modules and will be 100% bilingual speaking both English and French to support some of their bilingual accounts. This is a full time hybrid position in the Montreal area but open to remote options as well.

Summary:

As a Bilingual ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining ServiceNow applications and integrations. You will work closely with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to design and implement solutions that meet the needs of the organization. You will also be responsible for ensuring that Service Now applications are stable, scalable, and secure.

You will work on existing ServiceNow modules and integrations and formulate logic for additional stability and for new integrations and modules. Prepare flowcharts, performs coding and tests/debugs programs. Provide valuable input for documentation of new or existing needs. Determine input/output processes and may develop working parameters for hardware/software compatibility. Contribute to decisions on policies, procedures, expansion strategies and product evaluations. Work leadership may be provided by assigning work and resolving problems

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain ServiceNow applications and integrations.
  • Work closely with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to design and implement solutions that meet the needs of the organization.
  • Write efficient and high-quality code that is scalable and maintainable.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for ServiceNow applications and integrations.
  • Participate in code reviews and collaborate with other developers to ensure code quality.
  • Ensure that ServiceNow applications are stable, scalable, and secure.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in ServiceNow applications and integrations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow technologies and trends.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in ServiceNow platform working with various product suites
  • Must be Bilingual and have a strong command of both the English and French languages
  • Solid understanding of the ServiceNow cloud architecture as well as the Roche integration services based on Mulesoft.
  • Experience working with workflows in one or more key areas of the ServiceNow platform (ITSM, ITOM, PPM, CSDM, HRSD)
  • Strong experience with JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, and REST APIs.
  • Is passionate about learning, sharing, and further developing “best practices” and embedding it as “next practice” to achieve greater impact.
  • Strong experience working in Agile / SCRUM enviornments.
  • Exhibits servant leadership behavior, self-aware leader and a flexible team player.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders.
  • Out-of-the-box solutioning
  • Any ServiceNow Certification is a plus.
